Physician - A Facility in Alabama Needs a Temporary Urgent Care Physician

An urgent care physician is needed to provide coverage at a Alabama medical facility. The provider will work from 8 am - 7 pm on weekdays, or until 5 pm on weekends. There will be 12 shifts per month. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 40 - 60 patients per day doing typical urgent care work responsibilities. This facility uses the Practice Velocity EMR system to track patient interactions. Boarded, eligible, or non-boarded physicians are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will have an active, unrestricted AL state medical license in-hand. This facility requires providers to have a DEA license. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
