Responsibilities include such activities as greeting new patients and visitors, answering telephone and intercom, relaying messages and assisting with necessary records for the patients and the unit; also, offer assistance to staff from other departments.
May perform other duties including, but not limited to :
specimen transport to lab, transport of blood products from the lab.
, ordering nourishments/supplies for the unit.
Maintaining a clean and organized work station, supply room and nourishment room.
Education REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience preferred:
Previous clerical experience with answering multiple phones lines and forwarding calls in a medical setting.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to multi task is needed.
